The team at Stubbs Wallace wanted to rejuvenate their brand, without losing any of its history or integrity. After having a look at their history, and existing material, I discovered something incredible – they had been trading since 1897!
The incredible thing was, nobody would know it, as it wasn’t displayed anywhere, or represented in their branding in any way.
So the first thing I did was reposition their brand statement to ‘Taking Care of Business since 1897. That immediately tells a consumer of their intentions, and their history.
The branding was all done in B&W, with one key colour element, a burn orange. By using the B&W imagery, a sense of history is created, and the burnt orange lifts it, and makes it current. Once the rebrand had been done, I started work on the website, which is fully responsive, and works on all phones and tablets.
